Recent Form and Course History for the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches-Deluxe
Here is the deluxe edition of the Recent Form and Course History spreadsheet for the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches:
I can’t remember if we’ve ever had a tournament with no 10k golfers, but I do know that I’ve never done ownership projections without a single 10k golfer. I’m not sure if my model is equipped to handle such a situation. I currently have Shane Lowry and Ryan Gerard at 30% and most of the 9k range over 20%, but I wouldn’t be surprised if everybody is higher. I am fairly confident that the projections are at least directional accurate even if some of the guys up top may be underestimated.
It’s a big game theory week since the 9k range is going to see a lot of ownership. I also think this means the 6k range will go overlooked. I wouldn’t ignore the 6ks range this week even though you won’t need them to build lineups, they could be the secret to unlocking leverage this week. Don’t be afraid of leaving some money on the table or building oddball roster constructions either.
The wind shouldn’t be too bad on Thursday or Friday; both days start in the single digits and increase to 10 mph by the end of the day. Thursday morning could see a brief period of gusts around 15 mph though, so I gave the PM/AM wave a slight advantage. I’ll post an update on X this evening.
Good luck this week!
